CURIOUS STUFF
Below is book report for "Ask Me Anything" from the amazing Christianne's book club at Kids Books in Vancouver

I wrote "You asked for It" and "Funny you should ask" after a publisher (Rob at Greystone) heard Vicki Gabereau and me on CBC radio trying to get through a script about spontaneous human combustion. Apparently, we were warned by "a collector" that SHC seems to happen more often than not to ample - sized women sitting in armchairs in England. So, in fact, Vicki and I should " stay away from England" and "stay away from armchairs" which just about killed us...I haven't laughed that hard in years. You had to be there but luckily Rob was, and I subsequently wrote "Answer Lady" and "Return of the Answer Lady"(for Douglas and McIntyre in 1992 and 1993).
